Bouldering for kids and youth

If your kids always climb the trees, garages and boulders, bring them to our gym. Here, in a friendly environment, we will teach them how to climb safely. Climbing is a great way to improve strength, endurance, balance, flexibility and mood. Climbers of all ages are welcome!

Most of the groups are Estonian-speaking, but the coaches also speak other languages.

About trainings

3-4 years old
Our main focus in the 3-4 year-olds group is to ignite the kids’ passion for doing sports. Parents are involved in trainings as they can take active role in it. Our training is playful and fun. Not only do we climb, but we also conduct a little bit of age appropriate strength and conditioning, mobility and flexibility exercises. 3-4 year-olds group is preparation for coming years, where the focus will be more and more on climbing technique and evolving towards professional climbing sport.

5-6 years old
Our main focus in the 5-6 year-olds group is to ignite the kids’ passion for doing sports. Our training is playful and fun. Not only do we climb, but we also conduct a little bit of strength and conditioning, mobility and flexibility exercises. The group comes together twice a week and the group’s training is preparation for the next years when the focus is more on technical climbing.

7-8 years old
Our main focus in the 7-8 year-olds group is to ignite the kids’ passion for rock climbing as a sport. Our training are partly playful and partly sport-specific. Not only do we climb, but we also conduct a little bit of strength and conditioning, mobility and flexibility exercises. The group comes together twice a week and the group’s training is preparation for next years when the focus is more on technical climbing.

9-11 years old
The main goal of the Recreation group for 9-11 year olds is to enjoy movement, learn basic climbing techniques and improve the body's general physical ability. The main focus of the training is on climbing, but there is also a playful aspect. The focus of the recreation group differs from that of the sports group in terms of its less competitive sports-oriented structure and more relaxed approach. In addition, during training, exercises are performed that develop strength, mobility, and body awareness. Good recreation for a young person looking for exercise opportunities outside of school.
The main goal of the Sports Group for 9-11-year-olds is to acquire and refine bouldering climbing techniques, and to achieve the physical strength necessary for future development. The training is sport-specific, where the main focus is on climbing and learning techniques. In addition, during training, exercises are performed that develop strength, mobility, and body awareness. The children of the sports group participate in both Estonian and foreign rock climbing competitions. Participating in all competitions is not mandatory, but it is highly recommended to participate in as many as possible, as competitions increase the motivation to train and make the whole season more purposeful.

12-14 years old sport group
The main goal of the Sports Group for 12-14-year-olds is to achieve bouldering mastery in technique, as well as physical and mental preparation.
The trainings are sport-specific and take place 3 times a week:
- twice a week is bouldering training
- once a week there is a specific training for rock climbers, which supports the multifaceted development of the climber.
This training is divided into 3 "blocks": rope training, climbing-specific mobility training, climbing-specific strength training. Each block lasts 1-1.5 months. The coach shares information about each block with his group - venue, time, additional equipment, etc.
The youth of the 12-14-year-old Sports Group participate in both Estonian and foreign rock climbing competitions. Attending competitions is not mandatory, but recommended, as competitions increase the motivation to train and make the whole season more purposeful.
Training takes place in the Kivi Climbing bouldering hall (Pärnu mnt 139e, 11317 Tallinn).

12-15 years old beginner group
The main goal of the 12-15-year-old beginner group is to get to know climbing and learn basic techniques. The training is sport-specific, where the main focus is on climbing and learning techniques. 15-18 years old
15-18 years old

Want to try bouldering, but don’t know how? Have been bouldering a few times, but would like to learn some basic techniques and tips? This workshop is what you’ve been waiting for!

Our renewed course is the perfect opportunity to start climbing on your own.

Bouldering course for beginners

It is well suited for those who have completed the 101 course and want to delve deeper into learning different climbing techniques. Consistent training provides a good opportunity to develop strength and gradually acquire techniques. Ensuring safety during training is also an important emphasis for us.

Bouldering workouts for women (intermediate level)

The group works together with the goal of jointly supporting each other's continuous development. If the basic course gives you the opportunity to acquire basic techniques, then in this group it is good to test these techniques and overcome your limits in a pleasant atmosphere. More complex techniques are acquired and the focus is on how to solve boulder problems. The coach's presence and support helps you reach your goals faster, and the support of the group motivates you to develop. Joint strength and stretching exercises are also included in the training.

Training for advanced climbers

We welcome both men and women who are interested in moving to the next level and wish to focus more on training and find motivation in group training. It is suitable for those who have already acquired basic climbing knowledge. The training is conducted in Estonian.
